Who qualifies for the Post-Baccalaureate Research and Education Program at The Wertheim UF Scripps Institute?
Acceptance into the Postbaccalaureate Research and Education Program (PREP) at The Wertheim UF Scripps Institute is awarded on a competitive basis to recent college graduates who are United States citizens or permanent residents, with a minimum grade point average of 3.2.
Applicants who received their undergraduate degree (graduated) less than two years prior to the start of PREP are eligible for the program.
While it is preferred for participants to join the program with some basic laboratory experience, the PREP program has been designed to provide hands-on research experience to those who have had limited access to such training experiences.
