The Luminex 100/200 technology uses flow cytometry coupled with antibody-conjugated beads uniquely labelled with fluorescence. Up to 100 antigens can be detected in a single sample well of a 96 well plate. The flow cytometric analysis by the xPONENT® software resolves the analyte identity and absolute concentration in the sample based on standard curves included in the assay. Plasma, serum, cell-culture supernatant and cerebrospinal fluid assays are available.
