Mary Schrot is the international student and scholar advisor for UF Scripps in Jupiter, Florida. A native New Yorker, Mary earned her bachelor’s degree in business economics at The State University of New York at Oneonta, NY. Through SUNY Oneonta, she studied abroad at the American University of Rome. Her experience in Rome shaped her career path and her desire to help others experience studying and living in a country other than their own. She spent a year in Phetchaburi, Thailand teaching English to college students before returning to the U.S. to complete a master’s degree in Intercultural Counseling at Lesley University. She has been working as an International Student and Scholar Advisor for 20+ years and thoroughly enjoys working with people from all over the world.
